Our Guild Promise

Welcome to the Wine Guild of Victoria. We want every member to have a wonderful experience at our events and within our community. This policy outlines how we handle refunds for memberships, event bookings, and products to ensure fairness for all our wine enthusiasts. As a small, non-profit member-based club in Victoria, these guidelines help us manage our bookings with local wineries and venues effectively while looking after our valued members. Tickets and Memberships

Membership Fees & Subscriptions: Annual membership fees are generally non-refundable once the membership year has commenced, as these funds go directly toward club administration and insurance.

Event Bookings: We understand that plans change and illnesses happen. For our wine tastings and dinners, members can request a refund up to 7 days before the event. The Committee will endeavour to refund members wherever possible. Sometimes the WGV has already committed numbers and payments to our host venues. However, you may transfer your ticket to another member.

Cancellations by the Guild: If the Guild needs to cancel or significantly reschedule an event, a full refund or credit will be offered to all members who have paid.

Products and Processing

Refunds for Products: If you purchase physical goods or wine through the Guild that arrives damaged or faulty, we will provide a replacement or refund in line with consumer rights.

Non-Refundable Items: Please note, used event supplies, or promotional items are final sale.

Processing Time: Once a refund is approved, please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to return to your original payment method.

Changes to This Policy: We may update these terms occasionally to reflect new event types.
