Few people have more first-hand experience of smoke taint then Jimmy Watson Trophy winner Rebecca Drummond.

In June 2025 the Wine Guild of Victoria travelled to the Grampians District in support of the wineries of the district that were devastated by fire in January of that year. Smoke taint as a result of bush fires can be devastating to a winery as we found when we visited Rebecca at Fallen Giants. You can read more on smoke taint by following the link below.
